The Free plan is designed for exploration and learning — it lets you spin up a single cluster with limited resources and deploy one application of each type (one container, one Git, and one Helm app), with a single instance each — three apps in total. It is not intended for production workloads. Paid plans unlock additional clusters, more applications, higher deployment concurrency, custom domains, team collaboration, and production-grade SLAs. How is pricing determined?

SeaGit uses a flat monthly subscription model — you pay for the platform tier that matches your team size and usage. Because SeaGit provisions infrastructure directly in your own cloud account (AWS, Azure, or GCP), your cloud provider will also bill you separately for the underlying compute, networking, and storage resources. Do I need coding knowledge to use SeaGit?

Most core workflows — creating clusters, deploying applications, managing environments, and setting up domains — are fully UI-driven and require no coding. However, some advanced customisations (custom Helm values, action-rule scripts) do benefit from basic DevOps or scripting familiarity. We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely via Stripe, as well as PayPal. Annual plans can also be paid by bank transfer — contact us to arrange an invoice.

Is the SeaGit dashboard accessible to keyboard-only users?

Yes. The dashboard is built with semantic HTML and full keyboard navigation support. All interactive elements — buttons, dropdowns, modals, and data tables — are reachable and operable using only the keyboard (Tab, Enter, Escape, arrow keys). Focus indicators meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements.

Yes. Key UI regions use ARIA landmarks, roles, and live regions so screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) can announce dynamic content changes such as deployment status updates, notification banners, and form validation errors.

Yes. SeaGit ships with a fully supported dark mode that respects the user's OS-level preference (prefers-color-scheme) and can also be toggled manually from the account settings panel. Dark mode has been tested for contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA.

Are your email notifications accessible?

All transactional emails (deployment alerts, invites, billing receipts) are sent in both HTML and plain-text formats. The HTML versions use semantic markup with alt text on all images and sufficient colour contrast for body text.

Absolutely. SeaGit supports multi-organisation accounts, so agencies can create a separate organisation per client, each with its own clusters, environments, team members, and billing. You can also white-label the experience for your clients. Contact us about our agency pricing tier.

Does SeaGit integrate with my existing marketing stack?

Accepted Answer

SeaGit focuses on infrastructure and deployment automation, not marketing tooling. However, you can deploy any containerised marketing application (CMS, landing page server, analytics backend) through SeaGit and connect it to external tools via environment variables and custom domains.

Yes. All new accounts start on a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan — no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can choose to subscribe or drop to the Free tier. Trial accounts have access to all Pro features including multi-cluster support and team collaboration.

How does SeaGit handle Kubernetes cluster upgrades?

Accepted Answer

SeaGit surfaces pending Kubernetes version upgrades in the cluster dashboard and lets you trigger an in-place upgrade with a single click. The upgrade is performed using your cloud provider's managed control-plane upgrade API, so node pools are rolled one at a time to maintain availability.

Can I bring my own Dockerfile or Helm chart?

Yes. SeaGit will use your existing Dockerfile if one is detected in your repository root. For Helm-based workloads, you can supply a custom values.yaml and reference a public or private Helm repository. Buildpacks are used as a fallback when no Dockerfile is present.

Does SeaGit support private container registries?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can configure credentials for Amazon ECR, Azure Container Registry, Google Artifact Registry, Docker Hub, or any OCI-compliant private registry. Registry credentials are stored as encrypted secrets and injected as Kubernetes imagePullSecrets automatically.

How does SeaGit manage environment variables and secrets?

Environment variables are scoped per environment (e.g. staging vs. production) and injected at deploy time. We are working on integrating with AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or HashiCorp Vault for external secret management.

Can I set up automated deployments on every Git push?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Connect your GitHub (or other Git provider) repository and enable auto-deploy for a specific branch. Every push to that branch will trigger a build and rolling deployment. You can configure pre-deploy and post-deploy hooks, approval gates, and rollback policies through the Automation and Action Rules sections.

How do I troubleshoot a failed deployment?

Open the deployment detail page to view real-time logs and events. For pod logs, you would need to access the Kubernetes dashboard or use kubectl commands. We are working on building out custom dashboards for better visibility. The Troubleshooting guide covers the most common failure patterns — CrashLoopBackOff, image pull errors, resource quota exceeded, and failed readiness probes — along with step-by-step resolution instructions.

How do I invite team members to my organisation?

Accepted Answer

Go to Access → Members and click "Invite Member". Enter the email address and assign a role (Owner, Admin, Developer, or Viewer). The invitee receives an email with a sign-up link pre-scoped to your organisation. Role permissions can be further customised through Access Policies.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your account is immediately downgraded to the Free tier. Clusters and deployments beyond the Free tier limits are paused (not deleted). Your configuration, secrets, and logs are retained for 30 days, after which they are permanently deleted. You can export your data at any time from the Settings panel.

Can I change my plan mid-cycle?

Yes. Plan upgrades take effect by the end of billing cycle and you are billed a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. There are no penalties for changing plans.

How do I reset my password?

Accepted Answer

On the sign-in page click "Forgot password?", enter your email address, and we will send you a reset link valid for 1 hour. If you use Google or GitHub single sign-on you should reset your password through your identity provider instead.

Where can I find my invoices and billing history?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Billing. All past invoices are listed with a PDF download link. Invoices are also emailed automatically to the billing contact on your account after each successful charge.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Account deletion can be requested from Settings → Account → Danger Zone. You must first delete all organisations and clusters. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
